Swimming Pool Season is Upon Us:
Safety Before Swimming
The National Drowning Prevention Alliance (NDPA) has an excellent concept called "layers of protection" to prevent drownings and keep children safe.
Unfortunately with pool season hitting high season shortly, we will hear about a child who will drown either in their own pool, in a neighbour's pool or
at a community facility. Each and ever one of these incidents is a preventable accident and we encourage all pool owners and parents who will have children
swimming at family or friends pool to take a few minutes and ensure safety measures are in place.
