Car (Road) Safety

Car safety and road safety are so vitally important to our children given the severity and even death that happens on our roadways as the result of car collisions. Role modeling Driving and Safety along with Seat Belt Safety goes a long way to teaching our children the most fundamental aspects of staying safe and free from injury and accidents while driving or riding in a car. In terms of overall car (road) safety we wanted to bring some information to you about Car Safety Ratings along with a special section on Child Motorcycle Safety and the presentation of information on Motorcycle Helmet Safety.

Considering our children ride along in cars from the time of conception (see wearing a seat belt during pregnancy), during the infancy and toddler days all the way through their own driving years, there is a lot of information to cover. We've started here with some of the basics. We will feature special car (road) safety topics coming soon such as ATV safety.

We regularly tweet information about car and road safety that is best suited to Twitter such as car seat recalls. The other area this topic is featured on is our News and Research Center. New developments in safety standards along with stories regarding motorcycle, bike and other mode of transportation are posted in the Media Stories.

We can give our children great information and role model safe driving, have zero-tolerance driving rules along with ensuring our vehicles and road safety equipment meets current standards to help establish excellent safety habits throughout their life.
